The risk is never zero

Every day we make a lot of choices, balancing risk. The week's event with the sub that never came back to the reading the latest concussion statements has gotten me thinking about risk.

Inherent risk. Implied risk. Hidden risk.

Just plain ole risk.

We make a thousand choices each day, from using stairs to driving a car to working out to eating new dishes, that come with risk. We assume the risks, trying to mitigate them, or in some instances, embracing them as the challenge that produces serotonin and dopamine.
